Oculus Rift 日本向け価格は83,800円
Oculus Riftの予約受付が本日午前1時より開始された。
受付開始と同時に価格等の詳細情報も公開された。

価格は599ドル。日本向けは83,800円＋送料で出荷は3月28日開始。
セット内容
Rift includes the headset with built-in headphones and mic, sensor, and an Xbox One controller. The controller is perfect for a variety of games, including Lucky’s Tale, the amazing VR platformer developed by Playful, that we’re including free with every Rift.
Riftのセット内容は以下の4点。
- Rift本体（ヘッドフォンとマイク付属）
- Oculus Remote（コントローラー）
- センサー
- X box One コントローラー

Oculus Touchは付属しないが、Riftを予約するとTouchの予約も可能。
Oculus Touchは、Oculus VR社がRift用に開発している専用コントローラーで、センサー、アナログスティック、二つのボタン、トリガーがついた左右対称の構造をしている。
Oculus Touchを使うとRiftが映し出したVRの世界に自分の手を出現させることができるという代物だが、残念ながら製品版Riftには同梱されないが、Riftを予約したユーザーにはTouchを予約する権利も同時に手に入る。

なお、Oculus Touchの出荷は現時点では2016年下半期が予定されている。

問題はPCだ。 PCつきセットも販売予定
発表されたRiftの価格は予想より少し高かったが、理不尽な価格というわけでもない。問題はPCのセットアップだ。
RiftはWindowsOS搭載PCと接続しないと動かない。
Riftが要求するスペックを備えたPCの事をOculus VR社はOculus ReadyPCと呼んでおり、そのスペックは以下の通りだ。
- Video Card NVIDIA GTX 970 / AMD R9 290 equivalent or greater
- CPU Intel i5-4590 equivalent or greater
- Memory 8GB+ RAM
- Video Output Compatible HDMI 1.3 video output
- USB Ports 3x USB 3.0 ports plus 1x USB 2.0 port
- OS Windows 7 SP1 64 bit or newer
推奨PCの価格は約1000ドル。
PCとRiftのセットは1499ドル。Riftを単体で予約してもあとからPCセットの購入が可能
Bundles that include an Oculus Ready PC and a Rift will be available for pre-order in February starting at $1499.
If you pre-order Rift today, you’ll be able to order an Oculus Ready PC at the special bundle price, and of course, your Rift ship date won’t change.
PCとRiftのセットは1499ドルで2月に予約受付が開始される。Riftを予約したユーザーは、Oculus Ready PCとRiftの特別価格が適用することができ、それによってRiftの出荷が遅れることも無いとのこと。
