What is GloveStory2?

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Higashikagawa City in Kagawa Prefecture, WACA has planned and developed the smartphone RPG "Glove Story" (released in February 2024). It has been featured in a wide range of media, including TV, newspapers, internet media, and SNS by VTuber, and has attracted attention as a regional game, winning the 2024 (Reiwa 6) Higashikagawa City Mirai Award "Nice! Try! Award".

Five students from our hometown, Kagawa Prefectural Sanbonmatsu High School, said, ``We want to make a game together.'' Initially, I started working on it as a ``side story'' that was an extension of the story, but I was overwhelmed by the free and rich ideas and decided to release it as a new story, ``Glove Story 2.''
A new adventure filled with local charm and youthful energy is about to begin.

This work is a nostalgic RPG based on ``The Wizard of Oz'' and is drawn in a 2D pixel art style.

The story begins when a girl living with her grandfather and grandmother in Kagawa Prefecture gets caught up in a large tornado and washes up on an unknown island called Tebukuro Island.
During his adventures, he meets strange friends such as a scarecrow, a tiger, and a lumberjack, and he realizes what he is lacking and grows.

It's packed with lots of delicious things from Higashikagawa City. There will be 50 stores carefully selected by students, as well as specialty products representing Higashikagawa City such as Kamebishi soy sauce, Hikita yellowtail, and Wasanbon. If you're hungry, head to one of Higashikagawa's charming restaurants!
