The Demonized is an action adventure idle RPG where you play as a hero, who embraces the devil's power to fight the evil forces that are threatening the world. Equip powerful gears, trade with the demons to unlock souls that grant monstrous power, fight challenging bosses, manage resources through Dominion, and take down terrifying bosses on your own or join forces with others in this great battle to save the world from demonic monsters.

progress just stops at a certain point. Where you can double your "power score" and not clear a single new stage of anything. This happened around Inferno, where I cleared through 9 stages, but couldn't do any challenges but the first, and I got Zeus gear.. stat skyrocketed.. and couldn't do anything. a lot of progression is random and can actually go backwards like potions or mythic stats. Special gear also falls into this. so I hope you enjoy dropping a tenth or your power stat just cause.

At a certain point, it's pretty much impossible to progress without dumping money into this game, and I don't feel like doing that. These games are only fun because it's satisfying to watch your progression. When the progression stops, it starts blatantly trying to get your money, and it's no longer fun. You'll notice these other reviews all say they've only played a few days "but it's fun." Once you get past a few weeks, right around lvl 1260, it is no longer really F2P.

it's alright for an idle game. there's an overwhelming amount of things to grind and you get a low of rewards all the time. But nothing happens when you combine pets/summons (none of their stats change and you don't get anything from it) and the item upgrade is atrocious. after lvl4, you have a 1 in 3 chance to fail for every level up, which makes it really difficult to fulfill some of the quests provided/ have good gear. It's pretty mindless though, just follow the red dots if you want to play.
