About this game

Collect Pokémon Through Sleeping!

In the world of Pokémon Sleep, Pokémon with the same sleep type as you will gather around as you catch some Zs, so discover all the various different sleep styles that Pokémon can have as you aim to complete your Sleep Style Dex!

What A Day Looks Like in Pokémon Sleep

■ When Night Falls...
It’s time to track your sleep! All you need to do is place your smart device by your pillow (don’t place your device under your pillow or blankets as it may overheat), then call it a night. You can also play using sleep data tracked via your smartwatch.

■ A New Day Dawns
By the time you wake, Pokémon will have gathered in Pokémon Sleep based on your sleep type and how long you slept for. Carry out research on these Pokémon’s sleep styles to complete your Sleep Style Dex!

■ And the Rest of the Day...
Raise Snorlax big and strong! Snorlax will grow larger by receiving Berries from the Pokémon you befriend. The more you raise Snorlax, the greater your odds will be of encountering Pokémon with rare sleep styles!

Rest Your Very Best!

■ Check Your Sleep Report
What kind of sleep did you get last night? Your sleep report contains tidbits like how long you took to fall asleep, how long you spent in different sleep stages, and whether you snored or talked in your sleep.

■ Get Support to try to Sleep Your Best
You can have Pokémon at your side even when you sleep! With features like Pokémon-inspired music to relax you into sleep, plus smart alarms that wake you when you’re in a shallow stage of sleep, Pokémon Sleep may help you to rest your very best.

■ Smartwatch Pairing
By linking with Health Connect, you can use sleep data tracked through certain smartwatches to play Pokémon Sleep.

At its core, I can't complain; it's a gameified sleep tracker and using it has improved my sleep habits, so mission accomplished. The game part feels just a little bit stingy with the upgrade items, and the loading feels a little much sometimes, especially going between different menu pages. Wish the "relaxing sounds" included at least one option that was just ambient noise, the music is distracting.

Other sleep apps never really helped me, but something about getting Pokemon with a very cute art style from going to sleep on time is very helpful. The actual gameplay is very simple, with just having to feed your snorlax berries and cook for it if you want. I kind of wish Pokemon in storage slowly regained energy while not on a team, but it's not really an issue. Overall, very cute and very helpful. :)

the game itself is cute and fun and helps me go to bed at a reasonable hour because it gives me a high score if I sleep so many hours. However, the sleep research and morning tasks like feeding or collecting on events in the morning takes way too long. Today, it took me 45 minutes to get through. The loading screens and having to scroll around to find where the pokemon are to collect their berries, the cooking screen, watching the pokemon eat takes too long. Maybe there could be skip option
