I used to play this have a lot. I was trying to get into it again, but the ads have almost made the game unable. They have three different x's and have multiple waiting periods between them. and this is after every death. My kids wanted to try it and they are new at it so they die often, and they spend more time in ads than the game. Not worth it any more. Edit: I understand ads are required to make money... the ads for this game were just worse than any other AP I have come into contact with.

The game is a bit rough around the edges but not bad for it's age. There's almost 50 characters and most can be unlocked by collecting tokens, gems, scrolls, or completing challenges. There are things that I consider critical. 1. I lost a lot of saved data purchases, some challenges, coins, gems, some power ups, characters, and my favorite map I can't purchase anymore. 2. The store is empty. It has coin/gem entries but missing perks and maps. 3. Ads to claim things in temple pass bypass no ads.

Update 01.06.25I I enjoy playing this game. I wish there were new maps to play. All the maps now are very similiar. The only thing thay changes is the scenery. For example there is summit, and then there is fall summit, and the only difference is fall has leaves, but it's exactly the same as the original one. There is a Halloween game, but sorry to say it's pretty boring, and I never play it. Overall I like Temple Run 2. I play it almost everyday!!
